The Clue: Wizarding World Harry Potter Edition is a mystery board game that reimagines the classic Clue gameplay within the magical universe of Harry Potter. Designed for 3 to 5 players aged 8 and up, the game tasks players with solving the mysterious disappearance of a Hogwarts student. Players assume the roles of iconic characters from the series, including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, or Neville Longbottom. The objective is to deduce the correct combination of three key elements: the culprit (a character), the spell or magical item used, and the location within Hogwarts where the event occurred. The gameboard features detailed illustrations of familiar Wizarding World locations such as the Owlery, Trophy Room, and Dumbledore's Office. A unique gameplay element is the special Hogwarts die; rolling a house crest symbol allows a player to spin the wheel on the board, which can trigger magical effects like revealing secret passages, changing staircase connections, altering door availability, or summoning the Dark Mark to block other players. Gameplay involves moving through the castle's rooms, making suggestions, and gathering clues by having other players secretly reveal cards from their hands. When a player believes they have solved the mystery, they must travel to Dumbledore's office to make their final accusation. The first player to correctly identify the culprit, spell/item, and location wins the game.
