The MSI A520M-A PRO is a micro-ATX gaming motherboard designed for AMD Ryzen 5000, 4000 G-Series, and 3000 Series desktop processors, utilizing the AM4 socket. It is built on the AMD A520 chipset and supports DDR4 memory with speeds of up to 4600+ (OC) MHz across two DIMM slots, with a maximum capacity of 64GB. The motherboard features one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a dedicated graphics card and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for expansion. Storage connectivity includes four SATA III 6Gb/s ports and one M.2 slot (Key M) supporting PCIe 3.0 x4. For audio, it is equipped with the Realtek ALC892/ALC897 Codec, providing 7.1-channel high-definition audio. The rear I/O panel offers essential connectivity: two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a PS/2 combo port, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port (Realtek 8111H), and standard audio jacks. It does not support CPU overclocking.
