The eero Home WiFi System (Pack of 2) - 1st generation, released in 2016, is a mesh WiFi system designed to eliminate dead zones and provide reliable whole-home coverage. Each eero unit functions as a WiFi access point, and the system automatically optimizes network performance by selecting the best path for data to travel between devices. The system is capable of covering homes up to 3,000 square feet and supports speeds up to 350 Mbps. It features dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), two Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit for wired connections, and a simple setup process managed through a companion smartphone app. The system is designed to be aesthetically unobtrusive, with a compact, white, square-shaped design.
