In the event of a Wi-Fi or power outage, the doorbell stores up to 1 hour of recorded events. The doorbell offers flexible installation, capable of being set up wire-free using its built-in battery or wired to existing doorbell wires with the included connector. It is important to note that the battery-powered Nest Doorbell cannot continuously record 24/7 video history, even with a Nest Aware subscription.
