The Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Generation) is a smart home thermostat designed to learn your temperature preferences and automatically create a schedule to help save energy. It features a 60% larger high-resolution display with Dynamic Farsight technology that shows information like time, weather, or temperature from across the room. The thermostat works with most 24V heating and cooling systems including gas, electric, oil, forced air, heat pump, and radiant systems, and typically doesn't require a C wire for installation. It comes with a Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd Generation) that can be placed in different rooms to manage hot and cold spots throughout your home. The thermostat offers voice control compatibility with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Siri, and supports Matter for simple smart home integration. Energy-saving features include Adaptive Eco mode that uses outdoor temperatures to find efficient settings when you're away, and natural heating/cooling detection that pauses your system when natural temperature changes occur. The device can be controlled via the Google Home app and provides notifications about schedule changes to help optimize energy usage.
