HealthCareAisle Omeprazole 20mg Acid Reducer Powder is an over-the-counter medication designed to treat frequent heartburn, which occurs two or more days per week. Each packet contains 20mg of omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid production, combined with 1,680mg of sodium bicarbonate to allow for faster absorption of the omeprazole. This product is comparable to the active ingredient found in Zegerid OTC Powder for Oral Suspension. It is presented in a convenient powder form with a mixed berry flavor. The recommended usage is one packet daily, taken as directed for a 14-day treatment cycle to address heartburn and acid reflux symptoms. It is not intended for use beyond 14 consecutive days or more frequently than every four months unless specifically directed by a doctor.
