The OOTDAY Docking Station is a comprehensive connectivity hub designed primarily for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops, as well as Windows systems with USB-C ports supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode. It enables triple display expansion with dual HDMI ports supporting 4K resolution (HDMI1: 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz, HDMI2: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz) and a VGA port supporting up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. In extended mode, VGA and HDMI2 mirror the same display, while HDMI1 and the laptop screen show independent content, effectively creating a dual-monitor extended workspace on compatible Windows laptops. The dock features a 100W Power Delivery 3.0 port for fast charging of connected laptops and devices, alongside multiple connectivity options including Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps), a USB-C 3.0 data port, two USB 3.0 ports (5Gbps), three USB 2.0 ports, SD/TF card readers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Constructed with an aerospace-grade aluminum housing, it incorporates an optimized heat dissipation system for reliable performance during extended use. The device is plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers for operation, and is compatible with MacBook Pro models from 2016-2021, MacBook Air models from 2018-2020, Mac Mini 2020/2018, and Windows laptops with compatible USB-C ports. Note that 2020 M1 Chip MacBook models officially support only one external monitor.
