The Sony FE 35mm F/1.4 GM is a wide-angle prime lens designed for Sony full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras. Part of Sony's premium G Master series, this lens features an advanced optical design with two XA (extreme aspherical) elements that minimize aberrations and deliver high resolution with minimal distortion. It incorporates an 11-blade circular aperture that creates smooth, natural bokeh. The lens includes Nano AR Coating II to reduce flare and ghosting, and features a linear SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) focusing system for fast, precise, and quiet autofocus performance. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.27m (0.89ft) and maximum magnification of 0.23x, it's suitable for various photography genres including portraiture, landscape, street photography, and low-light situations. The lens has a dust and moisture-resistant design and includes a customizable focus hold button and aperture ring with click ON/OFF switch. It measures approximately 76mm x 96mm and weighs about 524g, offering a balance of high performance and portability.
